Project Description

H&F Electrical Contractors Ltd. were initially contracted to complete an electrical upgrade of the MV and LV distribution System in the existing plant, this work comprised of new cable containment and sub main cables. Replacing existing DB’s with new.

As part of this phase, H& F electrical included for the supply, delivery, erecting, connecting and commissioning of the complete Medium Voltage Network including Medium Voltage Switchgear, Cables, Transformer and all Ancillary Equipment.

HV Supply was taken from the E.S.B. Network and the ESB connected the 20kV cable to the clients M.V. Switchgear in the clients M.V. Switchgear Room.

2 No. Power 1.6MVA oil filled Transformers were supplied with future provision made for 2 No. Power Transformers which shall be 1.6MVA oil-filled.
H&F Electrical were responsible for the necessary negotiations with the E.S.B. to ensure correct programming of this work.

The second phase of this project comprised of the Internal fit-out works of approx. 16,000ft2 to ground and first floor of existing shell & core unit to provide electrical installations to the following:

• Reception Area,
• Meeting Rooms,
• Concept Generation Studio,
• QFD / Innovation Centre,
• 3D Print Office,
• Product Display Room,
• ISO Compliance Test Lab,
• Open Plan Offices, Booths,
• Stores,
• Coffee Docks and WC’s.
